The Search for Truth

I grew up loving astrology. I read about my sign, connected with it, and identified with it for years. Like most people, it never occurred to me to question the information I was reading. Why would it be wrong?

Then I learned about the 26.2° reality gap. I discovered that most modern astrology is based on a "frozen" map of the sky from 2,000 years ago. While the stars shifted due to the Earth's natural wobble, known as precession, the calendars stood still. When I looked up where the Sun was actually sitting on the day I was born, it wasn't in Virgo. It was in Leo.

A New Vision

I built True Stars because I believe astrology is the language of the stars, but that language becomes a myth if the map is wrong. I wanted to create a space that moves beyond the "geometric simplifications" of the past and embraces an Astronomical Evolution.

Instead of using the twelve equal 30° boxes created by the ancients, True Stars calculates your chart using the physical IAU constellation boundaries. This means we honor the real sky, where Virgo is a massive 44° constellation and Scorpio is a precious 6.6° sliver.

The 13th Constellation

We do not ignore Ophiuchus. The Sun physically passes through the "Serpent-Bearer" every year, yet it was historically excluded from the zodiac to maintain a symmetrical 12-sign calendar. At True Stars, we include Ophiuchus as a primary sign, utilizing its mythological archetype as the healer, the Asclepius archetype, to provide a complete picture of the heavens.
